Insect Screen Door

Price: $750

Our single sliding insect screen door helps keep pests out while allowing you to use your doors as additional ventilation. The sliding screen mounts on the inside wall of the greenhouse. If installing on a stem wall, ensure that wall does not protrude into the path of the sliding mechanism. Note: Unit is factory pre- assembled, making it hard to ship as an individual item. It may only be bought with a greenhouse or other large motor freight item.

Avoid stepping over our higher 4.5” greenhouse base framing with a Lower Threshold kit. This kit replaces the standard door opening and makes the threshold only 1.25″ high. Now includes lock for sliding door. Be aware that installation will require you to cut the greenhouse foundation frame section at the door opening.

This door also includes an outer frame which sits low to the ground and provides a low-threshold opening. No additional threshold kit is needed, but installation requires cutting the entry section out of the foundation frame. Important Note: This item cannot ship by UPS/FEDEX and must ship via motor freight (typically least $400), but is no extra charge to ship with your greenhouse order.

This kit accommodates both single and double sliding doors. Polycarbonate is included for poly greenhouse kits, but it does not include the new glass panels needed above the doors, which must be ordered locally to size. NOTE: We strongly suggest to also use the Lowered Threshold kit with dropped sliding doors. Please specify exactly how high your wall will be when ordering.
