Description
The Oxford’s tall, and spacious greenhouse design features a straight wall and a single sloped roof pitch. The modern Oxford greenhouse includes more windows which boosts its natural ventilation. Upgraded framing supports the long roof glass panels. In fact, the aluminum roof rafter pieces are twice as thick as our normal profiles and there are additional cross supports.
This updated design is also a great architectural element, bringing clean lines and wide, unbroken expanses of crystal-clear glass to complement a contemporary, mid-century, or even Arts & Crafts era setting. With the tallest roof height positioned on the sidewall rather than the middle of the greenhouse, hanging plants, vining fruits and vegetables, and small ornamental trees are easily grown indoors without impeding the rest of the greenhouse’s usability.
Upgraded double hinged doors are standard on the Oxford, making it as beautiful as it is functional. The Oxford’s eye-catching style makes it an excellent enhancement, whether used as a backyard entertaining space or as a sleek urban rooftop garden.
